2025 ConEdison Instant Lighting Updates: +150% to -50% change and new categories

It's that time of year again for ConEdison adjustments to its Instant Lighting LED program for businesses and non-profits!  

2025 Highlights

• 150% to -50% changes in incentives depending on category
• New incentives for lighting controls and sensors
• New incentives for LED Exit signs
• Energy Star bulbs are still incentivized in the program despite EISA and the EnergyStar sunsetting. They are accepting all archived Energy Star bulbs and downlights!
• ConEdison has ended its Downstream/Prescriptive lighting program, so the Instant program is the only path for LED incentives.

Selected increased base instant rebates from 2024 -25

• High Bays - now $150 off, with extra incentives for integral sensor and/or NLC integration
• 2x4 Troffers - now $46 off with extra incentives for integral sensor and/or NLC integration
• Flood lights - now $70 off
• Wallpacks and Pole Lights - now $90 off with extra incentives for integral sensor and/or NLC integration
• Recessed Downlight fixtures - now $15 off

Decreased base instant rebates from 2023 to 2024:

• 4ft tubes : now $7
• 8ft tubes : now $12
• HID Replacement lamps : now $72-$100
• A-line bulbs : now $4

Still great discounts from 2023 to 2024:

• Canopy lights
• Linear Ambients(Strips/Wraps)
